YEPP PROGRAM sponsored by United Way of Greater Union County - Contact: Jose Tobon and Elissa Santoro
All participants will obtain valuable skills through a weekly workshop, will receive tutoring based on a pre-test, and will be paid $10/hour for meaningful work experience, up to 10/hours weekly. We find worksites based on interest’s youth identify themselves. As a result of our program last year, 79% of our youth earned a degree or certificate.

The event is free and targeting male and female, ages 13-18 and Parents/Guardians. Our offerings include S.T.E.A.M, Mentoring, Career Development and Financial Aid 101, Health and Wellness workshops, Career and Financial aid panel discussion, guest speaker, prizes, community service hours for students, food, and fun.

This bilingual program allows young listeners to role-play parts of the book, participate in arts and crafts activities, and enjoy the drum rhythms and dance steps of the mambo and cha-cha.
