P.I.E.C.E.S.

P.I.E.C.E.S. (Plainfield Initiative for Early Childhood Educational Services), in partnership with Plainfield Public Schools, unites parents, community members, organizations, and businesses to collaboratively improve the delivery of educational, health, and social services to the preschool community so that we can enhance the lives of children and families in the city of Plainfield.

The P.I.E.C.E.S. Advisory Council shall be comprised of parents, community members, community organizations, health care providers, religious institutions, educational institutions, Head Start, corporations, businesses, and district personnel who are representative of the ethnic, racial and economic community served by the Plainfield Board of Education.

If you would like to become a member and attend the council meetings to have input and/or receive information about the overall implementation of the preschool program, please contact the Office of Early Childhood. Advisory Council meetings are held quarterly; most subcommittee meetings are held bi-monthly.
